i've worshipped these guys since i was 15....the best/worst memory i have of them is seeing them in a club in ottawa with about 40 other people (the place was empty, but the band was great doing their thing). i had been kicked out of my house and my parents and i were just reconciling and they had decided to let me come back home to live PROVIDED i didn't break curfew/respect the rules, etc. sxdx was still going strong at midnight and i had to be home by 12:30....i think i cried when i left the club that night knowing that i was missing a great opportunity to listen to more great tunes and probably chat with the band afterwards. oh well, at least my parents and i made up! i'm going to the show in toronto on the 25th and will stay out as late as i want!
i'm 32 by the way, have a 2 1/2 yearl old girl and a baby on the way - when they decide to start going to gigs i'll just join them!!
